Gil Marsden is an award-winning documentary director, producer and showrunner, and founder of Den of Martians. Renowned for crafting premium documentary series with global reach, his credits include Emmy-nominated hit The Gymkhana Files (Prime Video), Australian landmark sports series Making Their Mark (Prime Video), United States of Scandal with Jake Tapper (CNN) and the award-winning true crime series Death Cap Murders (Stan/CNN).

Working between Australia and the United States, Gil specialises in cinematic, character-driven storytelling built on extraordinary access. He is proud to serve on the Documentary Advisory Peer Group for the TV Academy, and is a member of the DGA, PGA, ADG and AACTA.
